The government declares a two-day holiday for educational institutions in AZK.

Two holidays have been declared by the government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) for educational institutions in the region.

Details indicate that on May 11 (Saturday), a long march led by the Public Action Committee to the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) will cause the educational institutions to close for two days.

To protect Chinese nationals and powerhouses, the federal cabinet has approved the use of Frontier Constabulary (FC) in Azad Kashmir. Sources claim that the FC will be initially stationed in the area for a period of three months in order to maintain law and order.

The FC will be in charge of providing complete protection for Chinese citizens and power plants, such as those located in Mangla, Gul Pur, and Neelum-Jhelum. According to the sources, the FC will station six platoons in Azad Kashmir.
