Punjab’s Schools to Offer Punjabi as a Subject; says CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has made a significant announcement about the education sector: she has chosen to make Punjabi language instruction a topic in schools.
At the Punjab Culture Day celebration at Alhamra Hall, Chief Minister Punjab expressed her gratitude to the people of the province for giving her this significant role.
She also emphasized Punjabi women’s tenacity and their crucial role as the foundation of their households. In addition, CM Punjab pledged to help the resurgence of Punjabi cinema and urged parents to teach their kids the language.
Maryam Nawaz bemoaned the dwindling sense of pride associated with the Punjabi language while considering the province’s rich cultural past.
When the Chief Minister arrived at the ceremony, Azma Bokhari, the provincial minister for information and culture, greeted her. She praised the first chief minister of the province for her dedication to advancing Punjabi culture.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Chief Secretary, the Secretary of Information and Culture, and other officials were also present at the function.
