Allama Iqbal Open University has launched over 80 academic programs
Allama Iqbal Open University has launched over 80 academic programs for overseas Pakistanis and international students for the Spring Semester 2025. These programs include Matric, FA, I.Com, Associate Degrees in Arts, Commerce, and Education, BS programs, 1.5, 2.5, and 4-year B.Ed programs, and diploma programs in 12 subjects.
The university is offering these programs through an online management system. All academic activities, from admissions to exams, will be conducted online. For monitoring online exams, MS Teams or an approved monitoring application by the authority will be used.
The last date for admissions is set for February 10. Students can apply online via the link: http://fmbp.aiou.edu.pk.
To facilitate international students, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood, has activated the International Collaboration and Exchange Office at the university, which stays in constant contact with international students and provides comprehensive guidance. Orientation sessions are also organized for newly enrolled international students.
Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood, speaking about international student admissions, mentioned that it is a matter of pride that 1,007 students from 37 countries have already enrolled, and the university aims to increase this number to 5,000 in the next five years.
