A renowned architect Izzah Minhas is the first person from Pakistan to attend the 31st Conference of the International Seminar on Urban Form (ISUF) in Brazil.
“Future Horizons for Urban Form: Disruption, Continuity, Expansion, and Reverberation” was this year’s ISUF theme.
“Digital Landscape: Forming and Transforming Collective Perception of Place-making” was the topic of Minhas’ talk.
She would also have a paper published in the ISUF 2024 conference proceedings based on the talk. Architects and professors from the best universities in the globe took part in the moot.
The international and multidisciplinary exchange of concepts, techniques, and research related to urban form is the aim of the ISUF.
It started off with about 20 architects, geographers, planners, and historians from four distinct linguistic regions in 1994. As of right now, it has 600 individual and institutional members from roughly 50 different nations.
The ISUF council, which is made up of elected members and officers, sets policy for the organisation. The council reviews the association’s operations during its once-yearly meeting.
The editor, two associate editors, two assistant editors, an editing assistant, and an editorial board are in charge of publishing the association’s journal.
The chairs and secretary of different commissions and working parties oversee special projects. Within the organisation, all administrative posts are honorary and unpaid.
