HEC Unveils New Entrance Exam for Universities
The Undergraduate Admission Test (UAT) is a new requirement for university admissions, established by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
Students must get a minimum of 50% on the UAT after completing their intermediate education in order to be eligible for admission. Seven subject areas will be covered in the exam: commerce, computer science, medicine, and engineering.
Applications are available on the HEC website until June 30 and the UAT is scheduled for July.
The purpose of the new exam is to provide more equitable admission to universities for all applicants. The HEC asserts that it is critical to uphold uniform academic standards throughout Pakistan.
With this modification, everyone will have an equal opportunity to pursue higher education.
