The federal government unites three major educational institutions to form a new educational body.

In order to save money, the federal government combined three of the Ministry of Education‘s primary institutions to create a new educational institution.

Three organizations have been abolished: the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB), the Punjab Examination Commission (PEC), and the Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Education Development (QAED). The newly formed Punjab Education Curriculum, Training, and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) will take the place of these organisations.

PECTAA will incorporate the officials and staff of the former institutions. The three institutions’ assets are merged as part of their consolidation into PECTAA.
