Private Universities and Schools Declare the Eid-ul-fitar Holidays
The Eid al-Fitr holiday schedule has been released by the All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association.
The All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association President, Dr. Malik Abrar Hussain, has announced that private schools and colleges nationwide will observe the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays from April 10 to April 14.
He further stated that following Eid-ul-Fitr, Monday, April 15, 2024, will mark the commencement of regular activities for private educational institutions.
The federal government had previously said that offices would observe five and six working days a week on Eidul Fitr, respectively, with a three-day and four-day break.
Offices after a five-day workweek will be closed for holidays from Wednesday, April 10, to Friday, April 12, according to a notification from the Cabinet Division.
Likewise, for workplaces that follow a six-day workweek schedule, the holidays fall between Wednesday, April 10, and Saturday, April 13. Note that this year, depending on the location of the moon, Eid-ul-Fitr is probably going to be observed nationwide on April 10 or 11.
