The University of Punjab to hold book fair from March 7th-9th, 2024.
The importance of books cannot be denied, and educational institutes around the globe celebrate different types of book fairs to recognize the importance of book reading. In this regard, The New Campus at the University of Punjab will be hosting Pakistan’s largest three-day book fair from March 7 to 9, 2024, under the direction of the Punjab University administration.
Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Vice-Chancellor of Punjab University, held a meeting of the Book Fair Coordination Committee. The meeting was conducted to assess the arrangements in this respect. The heads of the book fair’s administrative committees attended this meeting and decided the important arrangements for the book fair.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Khalid Mahmood also gave a speech during the meeting, instructing the committee to plan the book fair as effectively as possible. He said that their goal is to make the biggest book fair in Pakistan a success. He added that the book fair will have stalls from prominent national and international publishers, who would showcase the books from their publishing houses. He also exclaimed that it should be ensured that there are deals on books available so that students from all social classes can take advantage of the event and enhance their reading and analytical skills.
