BISE Lahore Introduces Student Mobile App and Web Portal
The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) has released a mobile application and an online platform under the leadership of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, the acting chief minister. Naqvi unveiled “a user-friendly online portal for all services, streamlining access to documents and all the services” during his visit to the BISE Lahore on 15th January, 2024.
Students will be able to obtain documents right at their door thanks to the online resources and this app. Additionally, “this groundbreaking initiative will soon extend to the remaining 8 boards across Punjab,” declared the interim chief minister.
The information indicates that students have two choices on the mobile app: pick up their degree in person at the board office or, for an additional cost, have it delivered to their homes. This will be beneficial also for those who are not present in the country or city due to any reason.
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) was commended by the interim chief minister for their quick rollout of the online services. He also expressed his worries about the nation’s educational system as it stands right now. However, he exclaimed that to address the issues, the upcoming administration would focus on important education reforms and therefore we would see things getting even better in the future.
