Bahawalpur University students awarded scholarships worth Rs 3.7m

Scholarships of 3.7 million rupees were given to worthy Islamia University of Bahawalpur students enrolled in the Bahawalpur campus.

Over the course of five days, approximately 1300 students were interviewed by Dr. Rafaqat Ali, Director of Campus; Aurangzeb Watto, Deputy Director of Student Affairs; Dr. Misbah Akhtar, Representative of the Directorate of Financial Institutions; and members of various departments and committees. Scholarships were given to deserving candidates.

In this context, the Bahawalpur Campus Director expressed his gratitude to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar for awarding scholarships to numerous worthy students. It will be demonstrated that offering these scholarships improves the educational program. The director of the Bahalwalpur campus also underlined the importance of giving the sub-campuses additional scholarships, stating that the students at the Bahalwalpur campus are talented and capable just like any other, and that this should be supported by giving them extra financial aid.
