Dr. Sumaira Rehman, Rector of Superior University Lahore, was a significant speaker at the discussion, which was chaired by Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Vice Chancellor of QAU. The participants had a productive discussion during which they exchanged ideas and suggestions regarding the part character development plays in promoting long-term success in higher education.
The 5th Rectors Conference, which is set for November 27–28 in Islamabad, will feature the proposals made during this significant meeting. The goal of this project is to improve Pakistan’s educational environment and foster closer cooperation amongst academic institutions.
The discussion emphasised the critical link between academic success and character development, underscoring the necessity for colleges to give character education equal weight with intellectual brilliance. The participants placed a strong emphasis on working together to advance civic education and character development by giving pupils the fundamental principles of honesty, professionalism, integrity, and tolerance.
