Emirates Encourages Young Golfers Seeking Higher Education in the US

Emirates is sponsoring the flights of two exceptional young golf prodigies from Karachi, Syed Daniah and Syed Abiha, to the United States so they can continue their education at Blinn College-Brenham Campus in Brenham, Texas.

Emirates is demonstrating its commitment to positively impacting the communities it serves by giving bright youngsters from varied backgrounds the opportunity to reach their full potential and follow their academic and sports aspirations by sponsoring flights from Karachi to Houston.

Through enabling Daniah and Abiha to pursue higher education while participating at the top collegiate golf competitions, Emirates is further demonstrating its commitment to developing the next generation of athletes.

“These sisters have already made a significant mark on the World Amateur Golf Ranking list and these remarkable achievements have earned them full scholarships,” stated Mohammed Alhashmi, Vice President of Emirates for Pakistan. They received recognition for their extraordinary skill and commitment to the game. We are pleased to support them in their quest of an international education. They have represented Pakistan in major international competitions as important members of the national team, receiving praise in nations like Scotland, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Dubai, and Thailand.

With a driving distance of more than 240 yards and a handicap of 2, Syed Abiha, who is presently playing, has the greatest score of 70 (2 under), whereas her sister, Syed Daniah, who has a handicap of 1 and a comparable driving distance, has the best score of 69 (3 under). In addition to their remarkable golf abilities, the sisters are renowned for their leadership and sportsmanship, which have helped them rise to the top of the sport on a national and worldwide scale.
