CM Punjab Announces Scholarship Program Worth Rs. 25 Billion
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif commended the best students from Punjab’s educational boards, as well as their parents and instructors, for their achievements in spite of the province’s inadequate infrastructure, resources, and atmosphere.
“We are very pleased that out of 138 position holders across nine boards in Punjab, 70 are girls and 68 are boys,” she said with excitement during an award ceremony.
She emphasised the government’s dedication to raising the standard of instruction in public schools. “To address nutritional deficiencies, we are launching a meal program in schools starting on September 5 where students from nursery to fifth grade will receive milk packs.” South Punjab will host the program’s pilot phase, the speaker declared.
A Rs25 billion scholarship programme was also introduced by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz with the goal of allowing gifted kids to attend elite universities including LUMS, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute, IBA, COMSATS, FAST, and others.
