Schedule for the MBBS Annual Exam Released

The MBBS yearly test schedule was accepted at the 50th meeting of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Board of Studies in Medicine on Monday.

The board’s convener, Prof. Sardar Al-Farid Zafar, as well as the principals of associated government and private medical colleges attended the meeting, which was chaired by UHS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ahsan Waheed Rathore.

The final week of December 2025 was chosen to start the First Professional MBBS yearly exams, while the final week of January 2025 was set aside for the Second Professional MBBS exams. A UHS representative stated that the Fourth Professional MBBS test is scheduled for the second week of January 2025, while the Third Professional MBBS exam is scheduled for the third week of December 2024.

Furthermore, the first week of February 2025 will see the administration of the Professional MBBS yearly exams.

Taking into account the beginning and ending dates of MBBS classes, the examination timetable was created based on input from all associated medical colleges.

Students are only eligible for exams if they have completed nine months of the academic year, with one month set aside for exam preparation.

The Supreme Court’s decision, which prohibits students from lawfully moving on to the next class if they fail the extra tests, was also agreed with by the conference. Additionally, it was determined that even the college administration would not be privy to the identity of the external examiners for practical exams.

Prof. Rathore stated during his remarks that the practical and clinical tests will take place within three days after the final exam.
