Japan will receive English language teachers from Pakistan.
The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD)‘s Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), an affiliated department, would export assistant (English language) instructors to Japanese public schools.
According to an official source who spoke to state news agency on behalf of their respected customer in Japan, they are now looking for about thirty assistant English language teachers who fit the requirements of having a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, one year of experience, and a maximum age range of 24 to 45.
The official stated that both men and women could apply for the position, with a potential remuneration package exceeding 220,000 yen and free transportation. He said that the position will be hired on a one-year contract, starting on April 7, 2025, and ending on March 24, 2026.
The applicants must never have had a criminal record, are in good health and able to work, as demonstrated by a medical certificate obtained three months before deployment,
Evidence of financial reserve: if the applicant is on the Private Residence Track, there must be a minimum of 600,000 yen in reserve after flight ticket payments; if the applicant is on the Shared Accommodation Track, there must be a minimum of 300,000 yen in reserve after flight ticket pay.
The applicants must provide a “Self-Introduction Video” (no more than three minutes) with your resume, indicate that you are able to attend training sessions led by M/s Borderlink in Pakistan, and indicate that you will arrive in Japan at a location(s) chosen by M/s Borderlink by March 31, 2025, at the latest.
Candidates for the Private Residence Track must be able to cover the 250,000–350,000 yen upfront cost of apartments.
Shared Accommodations Track: candidates must consent to live together for at least a year following the start of their work.
Areas of preference include proficiency in basic Japanese, a local teaching certificate, certification in TESOL, TOEFL, and/or CELTA. He added that the interested applicant could apply online at https://oec.gov.pk/, the website of OEC.
