The inauguration ceremony of the newly elected officials of Mehran University Officers Welfare Association was held. Vice Chancellor of Mehran University, Professor Dr. Tahaa Hussain Ali, administered the oath to the newly elected body. On this occasion, he addressed the new body and officers, stating that new ideas are required to bring industries towards the university, and in this regard, university officers, faculty, and researchers can play a bridging role between academia and industry.
He mentioned that not only faculty but officers and staff also play a role in this. He stated that currently, not only Mehran University but all universities are facing financial difficulties, so we need to adopt a policy of reducing expenses.
He said that we need to increase our research projects so that investors come and invest in our projects. He further said that all stakeholders of Mehran University are equally important and hold the same significance.
