Islamabad Capital Territory announces their summer holidays
All educational institutions located in the Islamabad Capital Territory will have their summer holidays extended, according to the Federal Directorate of Education.
The statement states that all educational institutions located within the Islamabad Capital Territory would have summer holidays starting on June 10 and ending on July 31.
On the other hand, undergrads enrolled in BS/ADP programmes will carry on with their studies in accordance with the scheduled semester calendar.
During the summer vacation, educational institutions will improve their facilities and operational effectiveness by doing tasks like physical inventory verification and playground, building and furniture maintenance.
Additionally, during the final week of July, internal continuing professional development workshops will be held.
Through CPD courses, the FDE hopes to equip teaching professionals with modernised skills and approaches. The heads of educational institutions have been tasked with encouraging instructors to actively participate in these efforts and to use their knowledge to effectively complete tasks that have been allocated to them.
The government school and college regulator in Islamabad also announced that instructors will participate in training sessions, the details of which would be sent to them later.
