Self-assessment meetings commencing at Government College Women University, Faisalabad.
The Government College Women University in Faisalabad has initiated self-assessment meetings, and the process of evaluating all degree programs will continue until February 27. Addressing the audience during the self-assessment meeting under the supervision of the Directorate of Quality Enhancement, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Zhal Huma Nazli stated that providing standardized education is the top priority of Government College Women University.
She mentioned that by ensuring the provision of quality and excellent education, they are taking strides towards achieving the best rankings in world rankings. She commended the effective performance of the Department of Quality Enhancement’s Director, Dr. Asma Khalid, and her team to ensure standardization at the university. The assessment process for B.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. programs in all degree programs has started in the self-assessment meeting and will continue from February 13 to February 27.
Data related to self-assessment reports are organized through relevant departments, and after the Quality Assurance Agency’s investigation, it is compiled in the Directorate of Quality Enhancement for further scrutiny. To conduct further investigations, assessment program team members are nominated from top universities across Pakistan, including internal assessment program team members from the university. They raised questions about the 2023–24 project with chairpersons of relevant institutions and their program coordinators, presenting their findings and recommendations regarding self-assessment.
