Sindh also Offers Eight Consecutive Holidays to Students

In honor of the general elections, Sindh has also declared prolonged breaks for educational institutions, following Punjab.

The Education Department reportedly agreed to keep colleges, universities, and schools closed from February 6–9.

Students are in for a treat because they will enjoy six straight holidays starting with the province’s announcement of the February 5 break. The educational facilities will reopen on Saturday, February 10.

If students miss class on February 10th, they will receive eight consecutive holidays, which begin on Sunday, February 4 and end on Sunday, February 11.

It is important to note that the provincial education department alone makes this decision, and official notice won’t be sent out until the caretaker provincial administration gives its consent.

Punjab had previously declared a prolonged break for all of the province’s educational institutions. Punjab’s governmental and private schools, colleges, and universities will be closed from February 6 to February 9. Since February 4th is a Sunday and February 5th is a public holiday in Kashmir, the shutdown of educational institutions essentially amounts to a six-day holiday.
