Sindh Declares School Holiday for Next Week
The Sindh Education Department has officially declared a holiday for all public and private schools across the province on Friday, February 14, in observance of Shab-e-Barat.
According to an official notification, the decision was made with the consensus of the steering committee on education members.
Shab-e-Barat, observed on the 15th night of the Islamic month of Shaban, holds deep spiritual significance for Muslims. It is considered a night of divine mercy and forgiveness, during which people offer special prayers, seek blessings, and visit the graves of their loved ones. Many believe that on this night, destinies for the coming year are written, making it an important time for reflection and prayer.
To honor the occasion and allow people to fully participate in religious observances, Pakistan, like many other countries, declares holidays in various sectors, including education.
A passionate student with a keen interest in education, I write articles to explore and share insights on various aspects of learning and growth. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to the education sector through my writing.
