KP will hire more teachers right now.

To alleviate staffing shortages in schools, the Standing Committee on Primary and Secondary Education of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has demanded that teachers be hired immediately.

The main focus of the conference, which was chaired by Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand, the leader of the committee, was education. In order to meet minimum wage requirements, Tarand pushed officials to increase the pay of community schoolteachers.

The meeting was attended by senior education authorities, a number of MPAs, and provincial education minister Faisal Khan Tarakai. Participants talked about ways to guarantee high-quality education, such as extending school administrators’ contracts.

According to Tarakai, plans for school leaders’ future responsibilities are now being discussed, and their only responsibility is to oversee the quality of education.

After one and a half years of employment at a single station, the committee was told that ministerial staff transfers will take place, initially affecting three districts before extending to the entire province. To increase student enrolment, a scholarship scheme has also been introduced in low-literacy areas, especially in merging districts.

There are plans to expand the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) to include mainstream participating students and neighbouring districts. Tarand underlined that before to its distribution, current ALP flaws must be fixed.

Special Secretary of Education Qaiser Alam was instructed to take immediate action to address the delays in school construction in Charsadda and Swat. Officials were instructed to request approval from the Finance Department for unfinished school projects.
