CM Maryam says govt will take benefit from education system of Turkiye

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that provincial government will take benefit from the education system of Turkiye, adding that government was doing all out steps for the improvement of kids.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was speaking after the inauguration of Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges in Multan on Friday.

The Chief Minister complimented Maarif Foundation’s efforts for promotion of education and cultural exchange between Pakistan and Turkiye.

According to CM Maryam Nawaz, the Maarif Foundation has been instrumental in advancing education in the area. Maryam Nawaz also expressed gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his affection for Pakistan during the event. She recalled President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s steadfast support for further enhancing ties between the two countries. According to Maryam Nawaz, Turkiye has consistently supported Pakistan, particularly when it comes to advancing progress and development in Punjab and the nation.

All of the Trukish guests were welcomed by CM Maryam during the opening of Turk Maarif International School. According to her, the two countries’ strong and enduring friendship is demonstrated by the attendance of the Turkish Minister of Education. According to her, Pakistan will gain from the Turkish educational system.

Additionally present at the opening ceremony were Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, President of the Turkish Maarif Foundation; İrfan Neziroğlu, Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan; and Dr. Yusuf Tekin, Minister of National Education of Turkey.

The Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) carried out the project with the goal of establishing enduring educational linkages between Pakistan and Turkey. The campus was constructed with a $6 million investment to satisfy contemporary academic requirements and accommodate the changing demands of students in the twenty-first century.

The program demonstrates TMF’s commitment to empowering young people via high-quality education, encouraging critical thinking, and creating responsible global citizens who are ready to succeed in a world that is becoming more and more competitive. During the ceremony, the national anthems of Turkey and Pakistan were played. During the occasion, a documentary about Pak-Turk Maarif International School was also shown. Maryam, the chief minister, toured different areas of Pak Turk School.

Previously, Multan University of Science and Technology (MUST) in Multan was visited by Minister Maryam Nawaz. The Punjab Chief Minister visited Multan University of Science and Technology to lay the cornerstone for the Maryam Nawaz Sharif Girls Hostel. There will be 119 residential rooms in the girls’ hostel. Additionally, there will be a mess hall, a gym, and entertainment at the girls’ hostel.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif also inspected various departments of Multan University of Science and Technology. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif also visited the modern Google classrooms and digital library at MUST University.
