The Benazir Scholarship for Baloch Students has been announced.
The Benazir Bhutto Scholarships for students in the province have been made available, according to Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
He stressed the need of collaborations between the government and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in promoting sustainable development and tackling societal issues while speaking at a conference hosted by the Department of Social Welfare in Quetta.
The Chief Minister emphasised the value of public-private partnerships in carrying out welfare programs to raise the standard of living for locals. He also underlined the government’s commitment to implementing necessary reforms and acknowledged the widespread problem of corruption.
He urged residents to maintain accountability and integrity while addressing unethical practices, such as the use of phoney degrees in merit-based hiring for the education sector.
In order to improve collaborations and promote understanding, Bugti declared plans to hold an annual meeting of non-governmental organisations. He called for active involvement in the fight against corruption and the advancement of openness and confidence.
The Chief Minister announced programs to assist young entrepreneurs with an emphasis on youth empowerment. The government would give educated youth interest-free loans through a partnership with Akhuwat, allowing them to create and carry out creative projects.
