Dr. M. Zahid Latif Takes Up Position as NUST Rector
Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif, a renowned scholar, became the rector of the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST). Dr. Zahid holds four master’s degrees, an MPhil with distinction, a doctorate from the esteemed Peking University in China, and a wealth of research and development expertise. He has also taught at some of the top universities both domestically and internationally.
In addition, he is a former Federal Secretary of Defence Production and retired three-star general with practical knowledge in both the domestic and international defence sectors and cutting-edge technology.
