CCTV cameras will be installed in exam centres by the Rawalpindi Board.
The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) is installing CCTV security cameras in all testing locations in order to improve the exams’ integrity and transparency for the 2025 Matriculation and Intermediate exams.
Enhancements to the paper marking procedure for yearly, supplemental, and practical exams are also part of the effort. Officials have been directed by Board Chairman Adnan Khan to provide information about the CCTV cameras that are currently in place in the exam rooms of government schools and colleges throughout the Rawalpindi Division.
Cameras will be put right away in establishments without security equipment. Additionally, beginning the next year, private schools will no longer be used as testing locations.
In order to ensure fairness and openness during the tests, the new system would open and distribute exam papers in front of pupils while being watched by CCTV cameras.
Information on installed cameras has been obtained from district education authorities, college directors and deputy directors in order to streamline the process. In order to stop malpractice and preserve the integrity of exams, the board wants to make sure that all centres are subject to stringent observation.
