HEC Is Accepting Applications for 2024 Research Awards
Pakistani scholars and researchers are encouraged to apply for the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) esteemed “Research Awards 2024.”
HEC states that the online application deadline is “December 17, 2024, by 11:59 PM.” These honours are intended to honour and reward outstanding research, contributions to intellectual development, and social welfare breakthroughs. They also advertise publications with a lot of significance. A certificate and money will be awarded to the winners.
Social sciences, arts and humanities, law, education, management, or public policy, physical sciences, engineering, technology, computer science, statistics, or mathematics, life sciences, biological sciences, health sciences, pharmacy, agriculture, or veterinary sciences are the three main disciplinary areas in which awards will be given out.

However, Rs. 1,000,000 will be the cash prize under the Best Publication Award. Publications that have a long-lasting influence on research and socioeconomic development are the focus of the award.
It is important to note that candidates who qualify for both (a) and (b) may only submit one application.
The applicant must not have been placed on HEC’s blacklist in accordance with normal eligibility requirements. The newspaper or applicant cannot have won the same prize before. HEC’s plagiarism policy should not be broken by any of the applicant’s publications.
As of January 1, 2024, the candidate must have lived in Pakistan for a minimum of three years. The candidate must be younger than 40 on January 1, 2024. As of January 1, 2024, the candidate must have lived in Pakistan for a minimum of one year.
