FJMU launches a program to increase university management’s capacity.

The launch of the university management’s capacity-building program, which was organised in partnership with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, took place at the Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU) in Lahore.

The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Noor Amna Malik, Managing Director of the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.

As the Patron-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, the Vice Chancellor of FJMU, graced the occasion.

Dr. Noor Amna Malik, a prominent guest, was greeted by Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal upon her arrival at FJMU. According to him, learning is a continuous process that starts at birth and lasts until death. These kinds of training programs are beneficial for improving the institutions’ performance.

Additionally, he stated that we are appreciative of Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, and Dr. Noor Amna Malik for incorporating FJMU into training initiatives.

Dr. Noor Amna Malik gave her insights and opinions. Attending the training session’s opening ceremony is an honour and a source of pride, she remarked. She told the attendees to make the most of every minute of their lives and to share with their close friends anything they learnt during the course. She also praised Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal’s unmatched commitment to medical education and his innovative leadership. She commended FJMU and its faculty for representing Fatima Jinnah Medical University globally in the UK under the inspiring direction of Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal.

The teachers and staff of Pakistan’s Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) participate in capacity-building programs run by the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE). The Faculty Development Program, Research and Research Management, Academic Management, and Leadership & Financial Management are the three main areas of focus for these programs.

The event was attended by faculty members, a significant number of participants, the Focal Person, Dr. Uzma Iqbal, Prof. Aliya Zahid, Dr. Taskeen Zahra, Dean Prof. Bilquis Shabbir, and Principal Prof. Abdul Hameed.

As the Chief Facilitator, Punjab University’s Prof. Ashfaq Ahmad took part.

During the event, Dr. Noor Amna Malik was also given an honorary shield by Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, the vice chancellor.
