The management of Lahore College for Women University has declared that the university will remain closed for an additional three days and that lessons will be held virtually in response to protests against harassment.

The management announced that all sessions would be held virtually over the next three days, despite the university being closed from October 16 to October 18. The university’s registrar has sent out a notification.

Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) has previously refuted the existence of any incidence resembling the one that occurred at Punjab College. A senior-member committee of LCWU, according to a spokesman, has been tasked with looking into a student’s accusation of harassment against a staff member.

According to the speaker, the bus driver engages in misbehaviour and stalking. The employee has been placed on immediate suspension. This investigation is being carried out in compliance with the Higher Education Commission’s and the Punjab government’s anti-harassment rules. a press statement says. The spokesman went on to state that LCWU was still dedicated to making sure the procedure was complete and transparent and that every student had access to a setting that was secure, courteous, and powerful.
