Approximately 50% of Sahiwal and Bahawalpur Board Students Do Not Pass Intermediate Part I Exams

In 2024, the Intermediate Part-I results were released by the Bahawalpur Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. A total of 51858 participants, including 2,517 private candidates, took the exam, according to the board’s result gazette. With a 52.84 pass rate, 27,400 students in total completed the tests.

51% of candidates passed the Intermediate Exam, according to Sahiwal Board. On Tuesday, the Sahiwal Board also released the results for the Intermediate Examination 2024’s Part One, or First Year. The findings show that out of the 39,855 male and female students who took the examinations, 20,323 passed, yielding a 51% success rate.

Shoaib Iqbal Syed, Commissioner Sahiwal and Chairman of the Sahiwal Board, made the announcement of the results in his office. It was also disclosed that 19,465 out of the 36,619 students who took the regular tests were deemed successful. In addition, 858 out of the 3,239 students who took the private tests passed them.

There were 22,689 female students and 17,166 male students that took the exam. Students from the districts of Pakpatan (52.75%), Okara (51.36%), and Sahiwal (54.6%) had the highest pass rates. The results were announced in front of a group of senior Sahiwal Board officials, including Secretary Rao Ali Riaz, Deputy Secretary Muhammad Arshad, Assistant Controller Ramzan Anjum, and System Analyst Muhammad Rafiq.
