Tomorrow, September 22, is the date for prospective medical and dental students across Pakistan to take the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024.

The exam is being taken by at least 167,000 candidates in 30 US locales as well as two international locations. In order to guarantee a seamless and open procedure for all parties involved, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has completed the necessary arrangements.

The candidates who registered have already received their admit cards, and measures have been taken to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the exam, including codal requirements that must be followed.

The PMDC is dedicated to preserving the highest level of transparency and guaranteeing the safe execution of the examination in cooperation with governmental bodies and security organisations.

The PMDC President reaffirmed the implementation of stringent monitoring procedures, which will include the execution of Section 144 at all test locations.

Legal action will be taken right away for any infractions. At every centre, cutting-edge surveillance technology will be used to preserve the integrity of the exam.

Candidates have been cautioned that participating in unethical behaviour, such cheating, could result in harsh consequences.

Dedicated monitoring systems and specialised investigation teams will guarantee impartiality during the assessment.

The PMDC has reaffirmed that it will not tolerate any form of malpractice or corruption. For the MDCAT, 167,744 students had registered in total.
