Admission Deadline Extension for Autumn 2024 at Allama Iqbal Open University
Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood declared on Tuesday that applications for the Autumn 2024 semester will now be accepted until further notice.
AIOU reports that the new, late-fee-free deadline for applications to BS (Face-to-Face), PGD, and certificate programs is September 5, 2024. Until this date, admissions for the Matric, FA, and I. Com programs will also be open.
For the MS, MPhil, and PhD programs, however, there won’t be an extension because the admission exams are already set for August 22–24.
The Director General of Regional Services, Dr. Malik Taqeer Ahmad Khan, has directed all college campuses to extensively publicise this extension.
On September 2, the Matric, FA, and I. Com final exams will take place. More information may be found on the university website and student portals. To ensure the integrity of the exams, strict regulations will be put in place, such as prohibiting cell phones in exam rooms.
