Punjab University Establishes a Charge for Degree Acquisition

Due to financial difficulties, Punjab University has changed its income policy. Students will no longer be eligible for free degrees under this new policy.

It is now mandatory for all students to pay an amount of Rs6,000 in order to receive their degrees.

This is the first time the institution has done away with the free degree-granting offer.

This policy change was implemented by the administration in an effort to increase the institution’s revenue.
