Results for Pakistan’s O-Level, A-Level, AS, and IGCSE are released by Cambridge

The results of the world’s largest-ever June exam series for the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), O-Level, and International AS and A-Level were made public by Cambridge International Education on Tuesday.

According to the official release, over 1.6 million submissions were received worldwide for the June 2024 Cambridge International exams, a 9% increase from the year before.

Over 100,000 students from 683 Pakistani schools took part in the Cambridge O-Levels, IGCSEs, or International AS and A-Levels, with over 226,000 Pakistani students entering O-Levels and IGCSEs and over 125,000 entering AS and A-Levels.

The most popular topics for the Cambridge O-Level and IGCSE exams were Urdu as a Second Language, Mathematics, Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies, and English Language. The most popular subjects on the Cambridge International AS and A-Level exams were computer science, physics, mathematics, business, and chemistry.

This year, Business has become more popular than Chemistry, while Computer Science has replaced Economics in the top five.
