Some Programs Offered by GC University aren’t HEC Certified
The esteemed Government College University (GCU) in Lahore, Pakistan, has been exposed as providing courses that have not been authorised by the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) Accreditation Council. It has been discovered that the university has launched a number of these degree programs.
The future of the third-semester students at GCU is in jeopardy because the council has refused to recognise the new BS Artificial Intelligence degree that the university provides.
Furthermore, the institution’s BS in information technology has not been recognised by the HEC. The institution has advertised for new admissions to its Computer Science department even though the council has not approved it.
The degree programs that GCU offers but is not certified by the HEC are now included on the latter’s website.
The administration of the university does not ad dress the serious concerns that students have regarding their future.
