137 students from 18 universities received PEEF scholarships worth about Rs. 48 million at the event. These awards honoured their exceptional accomplishments and dedication to the nursing, arts and culture professions.
The CEO of PEEF, Syeda Hajra Sohail, emphasised the need of skill education in bridging the knowledge gap between academics and real-world applications. “PEEF is unwavering in its dedication to promoting skill development initiatives that better equip our youth for the demands of the modern workforce,” the speaker declared. Our fully funded scholarship program is purposefully created to increase employability in critical fields including cybersecurity, AI, hospitality, and IT.”
Chief Guest Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique addressed the gathering, congratulating the scholarship winners and underscoring that the occasion involved more than just the passing of checks. He said, “Today’s event represents our encouragement of our youth to reach even greater heights and our recognition of their immense potential.” Financial obstacles to study have significantly reduced thanks in large part to the Pakistan study Endowment Fund (PEEF). I applaud PEEF for its outstanding work and our educational institutions’ support of PEEF’s initiatives to empower students. The Pakistani government is still dedicated to advancing education and making sure that everyone has access to educational opportunities in order to uphold both our core obligation and their constitutional right.”
At the end of the ceremony, PEEF reaffirmed its commitment to giving young people the tools and chances they need to succeed. One student at a time, Pakistan’s future is being shaped by the cooperative efforts of PEEF and its partner universities.
