350 schools will get “Emerging Technology Centres” from the government.

The Ministry of Education has declared that 350 schools in Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan will henceforth have Emerging Technology Centres. Under the direction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the project intends to make Pakistan a centre for IT worldwide.

The project, which is a component of the Emerging Technology Education initiative, aims to give students advanced knowledge and abilities in cutting-edge technologies including data analytics, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence.

These centres will equip students to succeed in the quickly changing digital environment they will encounter in the future.

The Ministry said that the centres are an important component of the government’s strategy to increase Pakistan’s IT exports and skills.

By exposing students to state-of-the-art technologies, the centres will improve their abilities and get them ready for a digital future. They will be split up into two sites, and 175 highly skilled tech fellows will be working on the project.

The objective is to transform Pakistan’s IT environment and open doors for the youth of the country to have better futures.
