To strengthen collaboration, IUCPSS and Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology establish an agreement.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed in Islamabad by the Inter-University Consortium for Promotion of Social Sciences Pakistan (IUCPSS) and Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology Dera Ghazi Khan.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, founding chairman of IUCPSS and vice chancellor of National Skill University, was present at the signing event.
Muhammad Murtaza Noor, National Coordinator of IUCPSS, and Prof. Dr. Mehmood Saleem, Vice Chancellor of Mir Chakar Khan Rind University, signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
The objectives of this collaboration are to foster curriculum development, teacher and student exchanges, improved collaboration in the social sciences, and interdisciplinary research.
It is anticipated that the collaboration will close knowledge gaps between academia and business, give students the skills they need, and encourage creativity in both teaching and research.
Additionally, it was decided that Mir Chakar Khan University of Technology would join Student organisations Network, which would allow university students to interact with members of other clubs and student organisations located on campuses throughout Pakistan.
Vice Chancellor Mir Chakar Khan University expressed gratitude for IUCPSS’s ten-year contribution during his remarks on the occasion. He believed that by joining the biggest network of higher education institutions in Pakistan, Mir Chakar Khan University’s staff and students will have greater exposure and opportunity to benefit from the best practices and experience already in place.
