The University Impact Rankings for 2024, published by Times Higher Education, honour and recognise colleges that achieve certain UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

These organisations excel in particular fields and consistently contribute to the sustainable development of the world. These colleges demonstrate their dedication to addressing the most important global issues by achieving success in a number of SDGs, such as partnerships, social inclusion, economic growth, and environmental sustainability.

These prestigious universities are recognised for having had a major influence on many aspects of sustainable development and for making a large contribution to a resilient and sustainable future. Their multifaceted brilliance underscores the value of taking a comprehensive approach to solving global issues and emphasises the critical role that academia plays in promoting long-term change.

The overall Impact Ranking for 2024 was compiled by THE by assessing 2,152 universities in 125 different countries and regions. Western Sydney University in Australia is the top-ranked university for the third year in a row. The University of Tasmania in Australia and the University of Manchester in the UK are tied for second place in the rankings, following closely behind.

89 universities from Pakistan have been featured in the 2024 THE University Impact Ranking, with Comsats University Islamabad achieving the top position among Pakistani universities, ranking 201-300.
