Public and private educational institutions within the Federal Education Ministry’s purview will be closed from Tuesday, February 6 to 9th Friday, according to the official statement.
An extended holiday break had been announced by the Punjab Provincial Cabinet for all educational institutions in the province. This choice was made in consideration of the February 8th general elections that are coming up. Previously, this was only an unconfirmed news circulating in the social media, but it was confirmed in a tweet by Mohsin Naqvi.
Punjab’s governmental and private schools, colleges, and universities will be closed from February 6 to February 9. This step is being done to guarantee a seamless and continuous electoral process.
In honor of the general elections, Sindh has also declared prolonged breaks for educational institutions, following Punjab.
The Education Department reportedly agreed to keep colleges, universities, and schools closed from February 6–9.
Students are in for a treat because they will enjoy six straight holidays starting with the province’s announcement of the February 5 break. The educational facilities will reopen on Saturday, February 10.
If students miss class on February 10th, they will receive eight consecutive holidays, which begin on Sunday, February 4 and end on Sunday, February 11.
