Matric Exams in KPK Postponed Due to Ramadan
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the yearly examinations for the ninth and tenth grades in 2024 have been postponed by one month in honor of Ramadan. It has been decided that instead of the exams starting on March 14, the matric exams for Peshawar and all other boards in KP will now start on April 18.
The Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar announced that, in light of the importance of the month of Ramadan, the decision to postpone the exams was made in response to appeals from parents and students.
At a meeting, the chairs of all the boards in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa decided to change the examination timetable.
The Matric test schedule and tentative dates have been verified by the Punjab boards, and the exam will go forward as scheduled in the interim.
The committee of Punjab board chairmen accepted a provisional date sheet that states that the exams for the 10th grade will start on March 1 and the exams for the 9th grade will start on March 19.
