Punjab Boards Revise Total Marks for Islamiyat and Pakistan Studies Exams
The Grade 9 Islamiat exam is set for some major changes this year, with the paper now carrying a total of 100 marks and lasting 3 hours. Educational boards have already issued instructions to schools to implement this updated format.
To help students and teachers adapt, the Punjab Textbook Board has released a model paper that outlines the new structure. The model paper is available on the official websites of all educational boards.
Previously, Islamiyat and Pakistan Studies were separate exams, each worth 50 marks. This change combines the two into a single, more comprehensive Islamiyat paper.
