Punjab Hikes Fees for Exam Certificates and Corrections

Students and professionals in Punjab will now have to pay higher fees for various educational certificates and corrections, as the province’s educational boards, including Lahore, have raised their charges.

Key fee hikes include:

Attestation for overseas use: Now costs Rs. 6,000.
Early certificate issuance: Increased from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 6,000.
Late result card fees (2010-12): Raised from Rs. 700 to Rs. 1,000.
Duplicate result cards: Now cost Rs. 5,000.
Other notable changes:

Rs. 2,000 for registration/result card cancellation, reappearing in practical exams, or migration cancellation.
Rs. 1,500 for corrections in name, parentage, birth date, age, or address.
Rs. 4,000 for migration and NOC certificates.
Rs. 5,000 for corrections in intermediate result cards (within two years).
Rs. 6,000 for result card corrections (2-5 years old).
Rs. 10,000 for correcting certificates older than 10 years.
Additionally, the late admission form penalty has surged from Rs. 100 to Rs. 600 per day, while the book affiliation fee has jumped from Rs. 1,200 to Rs. 3,000.

These fee adjustments were approved in the 522nd board meeting.
