Punjab Education Department Mandates Separate Restrooms for Female Staff
The Punjab School Education Department has launched a thoughtful initiative to improve facilities for female staff and visitors, directing all subordinate offices to provide dedicated restrooms for women.
Official instructions have been sent to all institutions affiliated with the department, emphasizing the need for gender-specific restrooms in their offices. This directive applies to educational authorities, the Quaid Academy, the Punjab Textbook Board, and other related entities.
Key offices, including the DPI Secondary and Elementary offices, the Directorate of Monitoring, and the Science Museum, have also been asked to implement these changes.
This progressive step highlights the department’s commitment to fostering a more comfortable and inclusive environment for women across its facilities.
