Open University Launches New Russian Language Course

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), in partnership with the Open Education Center of the Russian Federation, is introducing a three-month beginner-level Russian language course.

Starting in February 2025, this in-person program is designed to help participants build a strong foundation in Russian grammar and everyday communication. Whether you’re curious about the Russian language or keen to explore its culture, this course is a great opportunity to get started.

Classes will be conducted by a certified Russian instructor, accredited by the Russian Ministry of Education, ensuring high-quality teaching standards. Upon successful completion, students will receive official certification that could enhance both academic and professional prospects.

Adding to the appeal, scholarships provided by the Russian Embassy in Pakistan are available for top-performing students, making the course more accessible. This initiative is expected to strengthen educational and cultural ties between Pakistan and Russia.

Interested students can find further details and apply online through the link shared by the Russian Embassy on their Twitter account. For any questions, AIOU’s email and phone support are available to assist.
