Retake of MDCAT Exams Starts Today for Students in AJK, GB, and Islamabad
Today marks the start of the MDCAT retake exams for students from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), and Islamabad, following directives from the Islamabad High Court (IHC). The exams began at 11 a.m. this Monday, as reported by 24NewsHD.
A large number of hopeful candidates from these regions are taking the opportunity to improve their scores. The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions, and students have three hours to complete it.
The decision to hold retakes came after the IHC stepped in, setting the final date for registration and fee submission to December 24, 2024. This extension has allowed many students who previously faced challenges to participate in this important test. Initially, the last day to take the MDCAT in Islamabad was scheduled for December 22, but the new timeline provides additional flexibility for those seeking another chance.
As the retake exams proceed, students are eager to showcase their knowledge and secure their spots in medical colleges. Educators and families are hopeful that this opportunity will help many achieve their academic goals.
