In a major step toward digital education<\/a>, Punjab\u2019s School Education Department has announced the purchase of 200,000 Chromebooks to set up smart labs in public schools. This initiative aims to provide modern learning tools to students, including those who are out of school, by assigning them digital IDs for safe internet access and interactive education.<\/p>\n

Through a collaboration with \u201cJumni,\u201d these Chromebooks will support 200,000 students in learning through digital platforms. Additionally, out-of-school children will receive free digital IDs, allowing them to access these devices for educational purposes.<\/p>\n

The program doesn\u2019t just focus on students\u2014500,000 teachers will receive free Google certification using Chromebooks. Once trained, these educators will pass on their knowledge, strengthening digital learning across the province.<\/p>\n

To further modernize education, the Punjab Education Foundation has partnered with Google for Education to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into classrooms, paving the way for a smarter, more connected learning experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
