The virtual discussion, held on Tuesday, included key figures such as Pakistani Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai, and Community Welfare Attach\u00e9 from the New York Consulate. Representing New York, Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly Phil Ramos and his Chief of Staff Cristian Macario participated, along with APPAC Chairman Dr. Ijaz Ahmed and newly appointed President Dr. Pervez Iqbal.<\/p>\n<p>A key focus of the meeting was the importance of opening NCLEX examination centers in Pakistan, making it easier for aspiring nurses to get certified without traveling abroad. Deputy Speaker Ramos recognized that allowing Pakistani nurses to take the exam in their home country would remove financial and logistical barriers, making the profession more accessible.
