To encourage academic cooperation between Bangladesh and Pakistan, the University of Lahore<\/a> and the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (Comstech)<\/a> of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)<\/a> have established a joint fellowship program.<\/p>\n

The initiative was characterised as a collaborative endeavour to develop talent, encourage innovation, and improve academic interchange among OIC member nations in a statement released by Comstech<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a variety of subjects, including allied health sciences, engineering and technology, pharmacy, management sciences, social sciences, and humanities, the initiative seeks to give Bangladeshi researchers and students access to higher education and cutting-edge research possibilities. Additionally, it will provide technical training for lab employees in science, technology, and engineering.<\/p>\n

“This fellowship program demonstrates our commitment to bridging educational and research gaps across the Muslim world,” said Prof. Mohammad Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of Comstech, who underlined the significance of the initiative. We hope to develop future leaders and innovators who can tackle today’s issues by assisting Bangladeshi academics and students.<\/p>\n

The fellowship demonstrates Comstech’s and the University of Lahore’s mutual dedication to promoting professional growth and education throughout the Muslim world. It is available to Bangladeshi nationals between the ages of 22 and 45 who live anywhere in the world, have exceptional academic records, and have a strong commitment to community service.<\/p>\n

The fellowship provides free housing, a stipend, round-trip travel, and tuition. Until March 1, 2025, qualified applicants may apply via the University of Lahore’s and Comstech’s official websites.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
