The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation\u2019s (OIC) science and technology arm, Comstech, in collaboration with the University of Lahore, has introduced a fellowship program aimed at strengthening academic ties between Pakistan<\/a> and Bangladesh.<\/p>\n

The initiative, announced by Comstech, seeks to nurture talent, spark innovation, and boost academic collaboration among OIC member nations.<\/p>\n

The program is designed to support Bangladeshi students and researchers by offering advanced education and research opportunities across a wide range of disciplines, including allied health sciences, engineering, pharmacy, management, social sciences, and humanities. Additionally, it includes specialized technical training for laboratory staff in science, technology, and engineering fields.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis fellowship program is a testament to our commitment to closing educational and research gaps within the Muslim world,\u201d said Prof. Mohammad Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of Comstech. \u201cBy investing in Bangladeshi scholars and students, we\u2019re empowering future innovators and leaders to tackle global challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n

Open to Bangladeshi nationals aged 22 to 45 with a strong academic track record and a commitment to community service, the fellowship reflects a shared mission to advance education and professional growth across the Muslim world.<\/p>\n

The comprehensive fellowship package covers tuition fees, round-trip airfare, a stipend, and free accommodation. Applications are being accepted through the official websites of Comstech and the University of Lahore until March 1, 2025.<\/p>\n
