Chief Justice Yahya Afridi of Pakistan has been urged by Sharia Appellate Bench ad hoc judge Qibla Ayaz to investigate the activities of the International Islamic University (IIU)<\/a> in Islamabad.<\/p>\n

Qibla Ayaz voiced his concerns on Acting Rector IIU Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed’s performance and behaviour in a letter addressed to CJP.<\/p>\n

He said that Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed was chosen to serve as Acting Rector in order to enhance the university’s administrative and educational operations.<\/p>\n

According to the letter, Islamic University’s situation has gotten worse under Acting Rector Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed.<\/p>\n

The next meeting of the board of trustees was conducted in Jeddah, and the minutes of the Board of Governors meeting have not yet been prepared.<\/p>\n

In defiance of the Supreme Court’s ruling, the appellate bench ad hoc judge asserted that a new university president might be chosen during the Jeddah session.<\/p>\n

As a member of the university’s board of trustees, Qibla Ayaz asked the CJP to obtain a thorough report on the university’s operations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
